First, a look at the events of the day.

Then, George Burns and Gracie Allen, originally broadcast February 8, 1944, 81 years ago, Guest Adolphe Menjou.   Gracie's new cleaning lady reports that guests Adolphe Menjou and Verree Teasdale are having a fight. 

Followed by The Lucky Strike Program starring Jack Benny, originally broadcast February 8, 1948, 78 years ago, Nightmare Alley.  Mary reads a letter from her mother. The cast does its version of "Nightmare Alley," a drama of carnival life that includes a satire of "Allen's Alley." 

Then, The Great Gildersleeve starring Harold Peary, originally broadcast February 8, 1942, 84 years ago, Auto Mechanics.   Gildersleeve is forced into giving a lecture about auto mechanics to the ladies of the Red Cross!

Followed by The Bing Crosby Show, originally broadcast February 8, 1950, 76 years ago, with guests Fred Allen and Portland Hoffa.  

Finally, Fibber McGee and Molly, originally broadcast February 8, 1955, 71 years ago, The Tiltmore Relaxing Chair.
