Nl: De sneeuwvlokken dwarrelden langzaam naar beneden en bedekten het dak van het oude Natuurhistorisch Museum.
En: The snowflakes drifted slowly down, covering the roof of the old Natuurhistorisch Museum.
Nl: Binnen, tussen de torenhoge dinosaurusskeletten en verfijnde diorama's, hees Maarten zijn schouders.
En: Inside, among the towering dinosaur skeletons and refined dioramas, Maarten shrugged his shoulders.
Nl: Hij ademde diep in, de koude lucht tintelde in zijn neus.
En: He took a deep breath, the cold air tingling in his nose.
Nl: Het was zijn moment.
En: This was his moment.
Nl: Vandaag was de presentatie van de nieuwe tentoonstelling: “Evolutie en de Moderne Wereld.

En: The hall filled with people.
Nl: De spanning kroop langzaam omhoog bij Maarten.
En: The tension slowly crept up on Maarten.
Nl: Maar hij had Elena naast zich, en haar kalme aanwezigheid was als een anker.
En: But he had Elena next to him, and her calm presence was like an anchor.
