Sl: Mateja je hodila skozi vrata Prirodoslovnega muzeja v Ljubljani.
En: Mateja walked through the doors of the Prirodoslovni muzej in Ljubljana.
Sl: Zunaj je bil hladen zimski dan.
En: Outside, it was a cold winter day.
Sl: V muzeju pa je bilo toplo in prijetno.
En: Inside the museum, though, it was warm and pleasant.
Sl: Ljudje so se sprehajali po hodnikih, okušali razstave in uživali v praznovanju Prešernovega dne.
En: People wandered down the hallways, exploring the exhibits and enjoying the celebration of Prešernov dan.
Sl: Mateja je ljubila zgodovino.
En: Mateja loved history.
Sl: Muzej je bil njen prostor miru.
En: The museum was her place of peace.
Sl: Dolge hodnike muzejske razstave so krasile zgodbe o preteklosti.
En: The long corridors of the museum's exhibits were adorned with stories of the past.
Sl: Vsaka dvorana je bila kot časovni stroj.

Sl: "Peljal jo je skozi stranska vrata v manjšo sobico, stran od prahu in truma ljudi.
En: He led her through a side door into a smaller room, away from the dust and crowds of people.
Sl: "Tu boš lahko malo počivala," je rekel.
En: "You can rest here for a bit," he said.
Sl: "Če želiš, ti lahko povem kaj več o razstavah.
En: "If you'd like, I can tell you more about the exhibits."
Sl: " Mateja se mu je zahvalila in se obotavljala v sobi.
En: Mateja thanked him and hesitated in the room.
Sl: Medtem ko je Mateja počivala, ji je Zoran govoril o zgodovini muzejskih eksponatov.
