Bailey covered the Crew and did some Blue Jackets stuff at the Columbus Dispatch before she moved on to cover the Washington Capitals for the Washington Post. Earlier this week, she and almost everyone else in the Post's sports department got laid off as part of a widespread cost-cutting program by one of the richest men in the world.
