Shannon Woman Shares Trauma Of 83-Year-Old Mother’s Visit To UHL
Published 3 weeks, 4 days ago
Description
Shannon resident Niamh O’Callaghan has taken to social media to share the horrifying experience her 83 year-old mother endured on a recent visit to University Hospital Limerick.
Following a lengthy wait for admission, she was admitted to a trolley in a crowded corridor within touching distance of other patients and located beside a sluice room.
Niamh likened the hospital to a warzone and chose to leave her before her mother’s episode of care was complete due to the conditions.
Alan Morrissey on Friday's Morning Focus spoke with Niamh to tell us this story.
