God shapes us like clay in His hands. Today, Jeremiah 17–21 brings both warning and hope. So we ask a simple question: where do we place our trust?

Today’s reading is Jeremiah 17–21.

Commentary

First, Jeremiah 18 takes us to the potter’s house. The potter remakes a vessel that did not turn out well. In the same way, God can remake a nation that turns back to Him.

However, Jeremiah also faces fierce resistance. People try to silence him and dismiss God’s message. So Jeremiah brings his pain to the Lord in prayer.

Meanwhile, today’s episode calls us to protect the innocent. It also calls us to pray boldly against evil. Finally, it urges us to trust God’s justice and timing.

Verse of the Day

Jeremiah 17:7 — “But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence.”
