Iranian Protest
Published 2 months, 2 weeks ago
Description
The weather in Madison was a balmy and sunny 20 degrees on Saturday – a welcome change after days of frigid temperatures and negative wind chills. But the cold hasn’t deterred the Iranian protesters who gathered on UW-Madison’s library mall to stand in solidarity with the people of Iran amid a national crackdown on protest in the country.
This was their third such protest, and it won’t be the last, according to the group’s organizers. WORT reporter Fiona Hatch was there.
