Yesterday, the Washington Post announced it would cut a third of its workforce in one of the most significant restructures in the newspaper's nearly 150 year history. The cuts eliminate entire departments, including sports and books coverage, and drastically reduce international reporting. Today, we're unpacking what happened, why one of America's most storied newspapers is in this position, and what it means for journalism.
