Description
VGK handled business last night at T-Mobile Arena in a 5-2 romp over the hapless Canucks. Following a scoreless first period, the Golden Knights notched three goals in a span of 2:30 - as Eichel, Reinhardt and Barbashev scored goals. Ever since Cordasco said to trade Barbashev, he's scored goals in four consecutive games. VGK scored two insurance goals in a minute in the third period with Dorofeyev and Holtz scoring. Akira Schmid got a big save on Vancouver's Theo Joseph - diving across a wide open net. The Kings come into town tonight to wrap up the schedule before the Olympic Break. They acquired former NY Rangers left winger Artemi Panarin yesterday in a blockbuster trade. He won't be in the lineup tonight according to GM Ken Holland on the Kings TV broadcast last night, but should be a major contributor after the break. The Kings come off a 4-2 loss to the Kraken. We have our Locks and Predictions for tonight's game.
