Story Transcript:

Ja: 冷たい風が吹く田舎の冬、広がる田んぼには薄い白い雪が積もっていた。
En: In the winter of the countryside, where a cold wind blew, thin white snow was piled up on the expansive rice fields.

Ja: レン君は窓の外を眺めながら、ため息をついた。
En: レン君 gazed out the window and let out a sigh.

Ja: 彼の足はまだ骨折したばかりで、ギプスが邪魔をして外で遊ぶことができなかった。
En: His leg had just been broken, and the cast prevented him from playing outside.

Ja: レン君は小学生で、とても好奇心旺盛な男の子だった。
En: レン君 was an elementary school student and a very curious boy.

Ja: 普段は外で駆け回るのが大好きだったが、けがをしてからは部屋の中で過ごさなければならなかった。
