#57 - Madison Blagden on Hiking 10,000 Miles on her Calendar Year Triple Crown

Episode 57 Published 5 months, 3 weeks ago
Description

In this episode of The Life Outside Podcast, Cam chats with Madison Blagden. Madison just wrapped up a mind-blowing year of hiking in 2025. She became the first woman to complete the border-to-border Calendar Year Triple Crown. That’s over 10,000 miles of walking on the Pacific Crest, Continental Divide, Appalachian, and Florida Trails, all in under 12 months. Madison shares her journey into thru-hiking, why she decided to spend an entire year walking an average of almost 30 miles per day, and the ins and outs of completing such a logistically complicated and physically demanding challenge. We hope you enjoy!
