Description
2 O'clock Hour :00 - Carl and Mike open up the show wit their thoughts on hearing from Falcons new general manager, Ian Cunningham and discuss what they heard which they believe was important to hear from him in regards to how he plans to attack his new role, which is his first GM role. As they discuss, they agree Cunningham's a capable guy who checks all the boxes with Carl noting he believes Cunningham's connection to Atlanta from growing up here may prove to be the fuel he needs to get the job done right. :20 – Carl and Mike get into the latest NFL headlines as they share thoughts on Robert Kraft not being selected for the Hall of Fame and discuss whether or not he is deserving of being in the HOF, which Mike believes he is arguably one of the best owners in the NFL. As they discuss, they agree the voting process for the HOF needs to be reevaluated to ensure there are no voting members making their decisions based on personal issues with candidates. :40 – Carl and Mike get back to Falcons talk as they react to seeing reports Matt Ryan will not commit to Michael Penix Jr. to which they both agree is a misleading headline and Ryan issued a fair statement when he answered the question fairly when he said the decision on Penix Jr. is not up to he or Ian Cuinningham.
