I don't personally sit down every week and look at my numbers. That feels like a lot. But I do have a monthly routine where I check in with my business money, and that habit has made a huge difference.
This applies whether you do your own bookkeeping, outsource parts of it, or have someone else doing most of it. No matter where you fall on that spectrum, as the CEO, you still need a relationship with your numbers.
