234: The Toll-House (Classic Horror Stories)
Description
THE RED TREEHOUSE IS DEDICATED TO MY DAD.
I LOVE YOU, POP.
Join me in The Red Treehouse as I narrate a terrific classic horror story--The Toll-House by W.W. Jacobs.
First published in 1907, The Toll-House by W.W. Jacobs, is a classic ghost story that tells of four friends who spend the night in an allegedly haunted house.
Skeptics by nature, the four undertake the challenge to test their courage.
But it’s been said, “if you play with spirits, they may play with you...”
And for Jack Barnes, Meagle, Lester, and White—they soon realize exactly what that means. This one is dark and will get under your skin.
So, sit back, turn down the lights, pull up the covers, and pay close attention as I read The Toll-House
