No: På et lite og travelt studenthjem, der snøen falt mykt utenfor vinduene, var det Valentinsdagen.
En: In a small and busy student dorm, where the snow fell softly outside the windows, it was Valentine's Day.
No: Lars, en entusiastisk og håpløs romantiker, hadde storstilte planer.
En: Lars, an enthusiastic and hopeless romantic, had grand plans.
No: Han ønsket å imponere Solveig, den praktiske jenta med det skeptiske blikket, med et hjemmelaget måltid.
En: He wanted to impress Solveig, the practical girl with the skeptical glance, with a homemade meal.
No: Men Lars hadde likevel en liten utfordring: Han var ikke særlig flink på kjøkkenet.
En: But Lars had a little challenge: he wasn't particularly skilled in the kitchen.
