107. Thanks! I Hate It: West Coast Emo, Warped Tour and Wishing You're From The Midwest | Emo Kids Anonymous
Description
Welcome to EKA107! Today we are joined by Thanks! I Hate It from Hollister, CA, but they are midwesternites at heart. With appearances at both Stoop Fest and XLNC this year, these California kids sure have an affinity for the flyover states and we discuss it at length. We also dive into the bands origin story, some bandmembers family infidelity, the current state of america and so much more. Oh yeah, we also discuss the writing and recording of their most recent release, 2025 LP Scatterbrain, released on Take This To Heart records. With song titles like "The Butterfly Tattoo Effect", "The Ultimate Worrier" and "Tonights The Night You Fight Your Dad", you knew this band was gonna be a great time and we were not disappointed.
