Ro: Zăpada strălucea ca sarea împrăștiată pe aleile din campus.
En: The snow sparkled like salt scattered on the paths in the campus.
Ro: Era iarnă în Cluj, iar căldura din camera de cămin a Ionelei făcea contrast cu frigul de afară.
En: It was winter in Cluj, and the warmth from Ionela's dorm room contrasted with the cold outside.
Ro: Pe colțul mesei din lemn se aflau manuale și caiete, așezate peste marginea subțire a unui mileu albastru.
En: On the corner of the wooden table were textbooks and notebooks, placed over the thin edge of a blue doily.
