In this week’s Bible Study Sunday, I guide you through a rich, big-picture look at the Millennium—the 1,000-year reign of Christ—as part 17 in our Dispensational Truth series. We explore the “day of regeneration,” why Scripture frames history in sevens and eights, and how the Millennium functions as the earth’s Sabbath rest with peace, justice, and a transformed creation.
I walk through the government of the Kingdom (Christ ruling from Jerusalem with a rod of iron), who inhabits it (church-age saints, converted Israel, and Tribulation survivors), what millennial worship looks like (restored temple worship and national atonement), and how salvation operates in that age. We also consider the end-of-Millennium rebellion, and the profound joy of serving the King in glorified bodies, ruling and reigning in perfect justice and peace.
Drawing from passages across Revelation, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Zechariah, Matthew, and more, we connect prophetic dots: the judgment of the nations, restored creation, unified language, global prosperity, and the practical implications of reigning with Christ. I close by previewing next week’s finale on Eternity and our upcoming series through Revelation, inviting you to reflect on living faithfully now in light of the Kingdom to come.
