The _Parasite_ Who Murdered His Victim - Then Pretended to Be Him

Season 1 Episode 27 Published 1 month, 3 weeks ago
Description

After brutally murdering his housemate, Marcin Majerkiewicz assumed his identity, deceiving family and friends in a twisted bid to cover his tracks. In March 2024, the quiet community of Winton, Salford, was shaken by a gruesome discovery. Stuart Everett, a 67-year-old retired civil servant, was found dismembered, his remains scattered across various locations in Greater Manchester. The perpetrator? His own housemate, 42-year-old Marcin Majerkiewicz. Driven by financial desperation and a macabre fascination with horror, Majerkiewicz bludgeoned Everett to death with a hammer, dismembered his body into 27 pieces, and disposed of them in public areas. In a chilling twist, he then assumed Everett's identity, sending messages and birthday cards to family members to maintain the illusion that Everett was still alive.
