This week on the 8Stream Show we’re honored to welcome Mallory Crabtree — a passionate advocate, speaker, and Gold Star daughter whose life story is a testament to strength, service, and legacy.Mallory lost her father, Sergeant First Class Daniel B. Crabtree, when she was just a toddler. SFC Crabtree was a Green Beret assigned to the Ohio Army National Guard’s 19th Special Forces Group (Airborne). In June 2006, while deployed in Iraq supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom, he was killed when an improvised explosive device detonated next to his vehicle during a combat patrol. He was posthumously awarded the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, and Combat Infantryman Badge for his service.Growing up without her father, Mallory has turned loss into purpose. Today she is a college student and advocate for Gold Star families, sharing her journey to help others understand the emotional impact of military sacrifice.
