Bo Nix spoke to the media yesterday and contradicted Sean Payton, who said the surgeon found there was something predisposed within the ankle and that the injury and procedure was a matter of when, not if. Nix didn’t have to address the media yesterday, but it seemed like he wanted to do it to clear up what Payton said about his ankle. Greg Penner also spoke to the media yesterday and said the Broncos will be “aggressively opportunistic” this offseason in addressing player needs, but it's important that the player fit the locker room culture. As Sean Payton looks for a new offensive coordinator, he will limit his options if he hires someone who won’t be able to call plays.
