The snark squad is crowning Gawdland and Fontana as the week’s undisputed titans, with Fontana snatching the first win after a high-octane lip sync right in front of Eurovision legend Loreen. While the producers took mercy on the cast with a "no-elimination" opening, the internet wasn't nearly as kind to Melinda Verga and Mariah Balenciaga, whose talent show acts were widely panned as the night's biggest flops. The real civil war, however, is brewing over Kate Butch; the "Butch-heads" are out in full force, arguing that her live comedic vocals were daylight robbery and deserved a top-two spot over the high-energy dancing.
