Published 1 month ago
Description
A Clare TD has told the Dáil that her nephew was forced to wait for treatment for hours on a chair at University Hospital Limerick's Emergency Department after a failed suicide attempt. Shannon Deputy Donna McGettigan has made the contribution during a debate on a Sinn Féin motion calling for the Dáil to note a Mental Health Commission report which reveals "international best practice" isn't available in EDs in Ireland.
