Sl: Svetloba blejskozerskega večera je bila čarobna.
En: The light of the Blejsko jezero evening was magical.
En: Snow covered the ground, and the candles at the stalls cast warm reflections on the icy lake.
Sl: Bledski zimski festival je bil v polnem razmahu, in zrak je bil poln vonja po kuhanem vinu in cimetu.
En: The Bledski winter festival was in full swing, and the air was filled with the scent of mulled wine and cinnamon.
En: Anže stood on the bridge, where in the spring he always watched the swans and thought about the future.
En: But today, he was entirely focused on the past.
En: Tjaša ran up to him, smiling with a disheveled hat on her head.
En: She was always like that—full of energy and always ready for new adventures.
En: "Do you remember, Anže? This is exactly where we first met. You almost fell into the water when you walked backward!"
Sl: Anže se je nasmehnil ob spominu.
En: Anže smiled at the memory.
Sl: "Ja, bil sem malo neroden." Tišina.
En: "Yeah, I was a bit clumsy." Silence.
Sl: Njegova duša je bila bolj zapletena.
En: His soul was more complicated.
En: He wanted to talk about the things weighing on his heart, but the words eluded him.
En: "Tjaša, you know why I really invited you here?" he began slowly.
Sl: Tjaša ga je pogledala v oči.
En: Tjaša looked him in the eyes.
Sl: "Anže? Kaj je narobe? Me skrbiš."
En: "Anže? What's wrong? You have me worried."
En: "It's not exactly wrong, it just... it seems to me that things are changing.
En: Everyone has their own life now, and I fear our friendship is taking a back seat."
En: Tjaša smiled, but this time her smile was warm and understanding.
Sl: "Anže, prijateljstvo ni vedno enako.
En: "Anže, friendship isn't always the same.
Sl: Se spreminja, tako kot mi.
En: It changes, just like we do.
En: But that doesn't mean it's over or that we're less of friends."
Sl: Zajel je sapo, njegov glas je bil tih, toda zdaj je bil gotov.
En: He took a breath, his voice was quiet, but now he was certain.
En: "I want us to remain important to each other, even if things are changing."
Sl: Tjaša je stopila korak bližje.
En: Tjaša stepped a bit closer.
Sl: "Sem zelo vesela, da si to povedal.
