Before Noreddine reverted to Islam he was a runaway street kid traveling with hippies and exploring different spiritualities while always coming back to listening to the Quran.
After hearing the Quran for the first time in that group home van, all the darkness and pain he felt was washed away like a waterfall, bringing him a peace he'd never experienced before.
