Description
The Seattle Mariners have added catcher depth by signing Eric Pereda, a 30-year-old with a strong minor league record. Pereda, who has played for several teams since 2013, made his MLB debut in 2024 and finished the season with a .345 average. Hes known for his quick pop time and defensive skills, but lacks power at the plate. The Mariners gained him without losing a prospect, as they designated Jackson Kowar for assignment. Kowar, a former Royals prospect, had a tough road back from Tommy John surgery and struggled in his MLB debut. Checkout Solipillow.com
