Dane County needs to increase its affordable housing stock, Sean Burke says
Published 2 months, 3 weeks ago
Description
Freelance marketing specialist Sean Burke has become a familiar name in local politics. He made an unsuccessful bid for city council last spring and, the year before that, fell short in a race for the Dane County Board of Supervisors.
In a redux of their matchup in 2024, Burke is challenging incumbent Tommy Rylander this spring to represent Madison’s north side on the county board. A third candidate in the mix, Otis Harris Jr., sends the race to a primary next month.
Sitting down with our News Producer Faye Parks, Burke explained why he wants to consolidate city and county housing services.
