Ro: În Piatra Craiului, iarna își etala măreția.
En: In Piatra Craiului, winter displayed its majesty.
Ro: Cei trei prieteni, Andrei, Elena și Mihai, pășeau cu prudență prin ceața groasă a mlaștinii.
En: The three friends, Andrei, Elena, and Mihai, treaded cautiously through the thick mist of the swamp.
Ro: Era 24 ianuarie, Ziua Unirii Principatelor Române, și Andrei dorea să atingă vârful muntelui în cinstea bunicului său.
En: It was January 24th, Union of the Romanian Principalities Day, and Andrei wanted to reach the mountain peak in honor of his grandfather.
Ro: Andrei era student la universitate, dar gândurile lui erau adesea la poveștile spuse de bunicul său, un pasionat al muntelui și al istoriei.

En: As they climbed, Andrei's story about his grandfather moved Elena and Mihai.
Ro: Vorbea despre cum bunicul lui organizase drumeții și adunări de fiecare Zi a Unirii, ca simbol al unității și hotărârii de a nu uita tradițiile.
