Someone on TikTok LIVE #88 called me “controversial” for my take on the 4-year vs. 6-year OMFS Residency.
This isn’t controversial; it’s disruptive to insecurity.
My take, plainly stated as I have many times: different paths create different surgeons. Fit determines fulfillment - not length.
I chose the 4-year because it fit my aspirations best, and I encourage others to determine thier own true life aspirations before deciding their OMFS direction.
