Description

Cleveland Browns Head Coaching Search Narrows Down: Grant Udinski Out, Nathan Scheelhaase in the Lead

The Cleveland Browns head coaching search is nearing its end as Grant Udinski, the Jacksonville Jaguars offensive coordinator, has withdrawn from the race. This leaves Nathan Scheelhaase, the Los Angeles Rams passing game coordinator, as the frontrunner. The Browns have also interviewed Anthony Lynn, the Washington Commanders run game coordinator, and are set to meet with Scheelhaase again. With Udinskis departure, the Browns have now interviewed three candidates, all of whom are white, prompting concerns about diversity. However, they have also interviewed Lynn, a minority candidate, which fulfills the NFLs Rooney Rule. The Browns are expected to announce their new head coach soon.
