Despite a scare from an "upset-minded" Utes squad, the Cougars leveraged their elite trio of Richie Saunders, Robert Wright III, and AJ Dybantsa to secure an 89-84 win. The victory keeps BYU firmly in the hunt for the regular-season title, as they now sit at 5-1 in league play, trailing only undefeated No. 1 Arizona and the surging Red Raiders.
