If this is the first episode you've caught of RAVE the Podcast, then welcome to the community! With a new year comes new content. I have launched a brand new series called "RAVE Foundations of Audio."
In this series, we are going to go deep, exploring and explaining the foundational principles of good audio. Here in the first episode, called "What Is Sound?", we answer three basic questions:
• What sound is?
- vibration
- frequency
- amplitude
• How do humans perceive sound?
• Why do sound systems exist?
