National Ambulance Service To Consider Mapping Clare Defibrillators

National Ambulance Service To Consider Mapping Clare Defibrillators

Published 1 month ago
Description
The National Ambulance Service says it will consider a proposal to map Clare's defibrillators on Google Maps. It follows a request from Clare County Council for locations to be published and made publicly available to assist with emergency incidents. There are over 9,000 Automated External Defibrillators in Ireland, but even the National Ambulance Service has acknowledged that many are never used as their whereabouts are unknown. Newmarket-On-Fergus Fianna Fáil Councillor David Griffin believes it would save lives.
