Story Transcript:
Sl: Mateja in Jure sta stala ob visoki okni na Ljubljanskem gradu.
En: Mateja and Jure stood by the tall window at Ljubljanski grad.
En: Snow was falling outside from the sky like soft feathers.
En: The guided tour of the castle, which they had signed up for, initially looked like a typical winter day in Ljubljana.
En: But suddenly, the weather changed, bringing a snowstorm that covered the city with a thick layer of snow.
Sl: Notranjost grada je bila hladna, vendar so trdne kamnite stene obetale zaščito pred vetrom.
En: The interior of the castle was cold, but the solid stone walls promised protection from the wind.
Sl: Skupina turistov, ujeta znotraj, je nervozno momljala.
En: A group of tourists, trapped inside, murmured nervously.
Sl: Nekateri so hiteli do oken, željni pokuka proti beležučem vrtincem zunaj, drugi so se stisnili v majhne skupine.
En: Some rushed to the windows, eager to peek at the swirling white outside, while others huddled into small groups.
En: She had always been curious and adventurous, but this time she had a duty.
Sl: "Če ostanemo mirni, bomo v redu," je rekla osuplji množici.
En: "If we stay calm, we'll be fine," she told the bewildered crowd.
En: Jure, who stood beside her, doubted.
Sl: Bil je previden in praktičen.
En: He was cautious and practical.
En: "What if we don't?" he quietly whispered to Mateja, troubled by the thought of possible problems.
Sl: "Najdemo način," je odvrnila Mateja z odločenostjo v očeh.
En: "We'll find a way," replied Mateja with determination in her eyes.
En: She suggested that the group come together to make a plan.
Sl: "Najprej moramo ohraniti toploto," je nadaljevala.
En: "First, we need to maintain warmth," she continued.
Sl: "Ostanimo skupaj in uporabimo vse, kar imamo."
En: "Let's stay together and use everything we have."
Sl: Jure jo je opazoval; čeprav ni bil popolnoma prepričan, jo je podprl.
En: Jure watched her; although he wasn't entirely convinced, he supported her.
Sl: Ure so minevale.
En: Mateja encouraged everyone to unite.
Sl: Vsi so sedeli blizu osebe poleg sebe, delili odeje in torbice, polne prigrizkov.
En: They all sat close to the person next to them, sharing blankets and bags full of snacks.
En: But night fell, and the temperature continued to drop.
Sl: Jurejev strah je bil najbolj očiten, toda Mateja je videla rešitev.
En: Jure's fear was the most apparent, but Mateja saw a solution.
