En: The steps of Helsingin tuomiokirkko glisten with frost.
Fi: Ilma on raikas ja kylmä, ja taivas on kirkas.
En: The air is fresh and cold, and the sky is clear.
Fi: Aki, Maarit ja Juhani seisovat yhdessä portaiden edessä.
En: Aki, Maarit, and Juhani stand together in front of the steps.
Fi: He ovat ystäviä, ja he ovat tulleet katsomaan uutta vuotta.
En: They are friends, and they have come to watch the New Year.
Fi: Maarit katsoo ympärilleen iloisesti.
