En: Helsinki was cold and quiet.
Fi: Lumi peitti kaiken.
En: Snow covered everything.
Fi: Vanhat kerrostalot seisoivat kuin aaveet kujien varrella.
En: Old apartment buildings stood like ghosts along the alleys.
Fi: Aino kulki uupuneena, mutta päättäväisenä.
En: Aino walked wearily, but determinedly.
Fi: Hänen hengityksensä näkyi höyrynä kylmässä ilmassa.
En: Her breath was visible as steam in the cold air.
