Proverbs 23:1 in the Bible says, when you’ve been invited to dine with a very important leader, consider what is set before you and keep in mind whom you’re with.

Our Lord God, as we come before You, give each listener wisdom and discernment. Teach us to be mindful of what is set before us and to guard our hearts with humility and self-control. Help us honor You in every place You position us, making choices that reflect Your truth and bring You glory. In Jesus’ name, amen.
