Mets Acquire Peralta, Brewers Get Prospects

The New York Mets bolstered their starting rotation by trading for ace pitcher Freddy Peralta and right-hander Tobias Myers from the Milwaukee Brewers. In return, the Brewers received top prospects Brandon Sproat and Jett Williams. Peralta, a 29-year-old All-Star, had a remarkable season with 17 wins, a 2.70 ERA, and 204 strikeouts.
