VGK comeback bid falls short in 4-3 loss to the Bruins

Episode 1294 Published 1 month, 3 weeks ago
Description

A late, third-period comeback by the Golden Knights fell short Thursday night in VGK's 4-3 loss in Boston.  The Golden Knights dug a 4 goal deficit after the Bruins scored twice on a power play in which Tomas Hertl was called for a double minor high sticking penalty. VGK trailed 4-0 after two periods, but VGK had a three-goal outburst in the third period, one in which they outshot Boston 20-5.  VGK plays in Toronto tonight in the much-anticipated return of Mitch Marner to the city he played for.  A lot of boos are expected, after a small contingent of boo-birds got after Marner everytime he touched the puck last week in Las Vegas.  The Golden Knights came back in that game from two goals down on four occasions to pull off a 6-5 overtime win.  We also have our WTF segment with your comments.
