Pl: Białowieża las zasypany śniegiem wyglądał jak bajka.
En: The Białowieża forest, covered in snow, looked like a fairy tale.

Pl: Śnieg leżał na ziemi, a drzewa wydawały się jeszcze wyższe i potężniejsze w swojej zimowej krasie.
En: Snow lay on the ground, and the trees seemed even taller and more majestic in their winter glory.

Pl: Był to czas, kiedy Janusz, Agnieszka i Mateusz zebrali się na coroczne, zimowe zbieractwo.
En: It was the time when Janusz, Agnieszka, and Mateusz gathered for the annual winter foraging.

Pl: To był też czas, kiedy w Białowieży odbywał się karnawał, choć nie był to ważny czas dla rodziny.
En: It was also the time when the carnival took place in Białowieża, although it wasn't an important time for the family.

Pl: Janusz był głową rodziny.
En: Janusz was the head of the family.

Pl: Mądry, ale i uparty, wierzył w tradycję.
En: Wise but stubborn, he believed in tradition.

Pl: "Wiedza przodków jest naszym skarbem," mawiał zawsze.

Pl: Jego córka, Agnieszka, miała inny punkt widzenia.
