Lt: Šaltis gėlė į odą, o vėjas perėjo per smėlėtą Kopgalį.
En: The cold pierced the skin, and the wind swept over the sandy Kopgalis.
Lt: Žiema apgaubė Kuršių Neriją baltu sniegu.
En: Winter enveloped the Curonian Spit in a blanket of white snow.
Lt: Prieš žiemišką peizažą sklandė kvapas druskos ir jūros.
En: Against the winter landscape, the scent of salt and sea hovered.
Lt: Tačiau Rokas stovėjo vienišas tarp smėlio kopų, svarstydamas, ar suras jėgų kovoti su savo skaudama kulkle.
En: Yet, Rokas stood alone among the sand dunes, pondering whether he would find the strength to fight his aching ankle.
