UK's Starmer Writing Cheques The Military Can't Cash | Putin's Russian Submarine Threat Looms Off UK Coast | Cyber Attacks From China And North Korea

Description

If you ever thought Britain’s armed forces were ready for anything, think again. According to Robert Clark, the MOD needs another £400bn ($537bn) between now and 2040. With Putin's Russian subs lurking off UK shores, and Keir Starmer writing cheques the military can’t cash, it’s a wonder Britain still has an armed force. “It’s bordering on professional negligence,” Robert Clark says. Promises of peacekeepers in Ukraine, more boots in Estonia, and even Royal Marines in Greenland sound great, until people realise the UK is haemorrhaging troops and can’t even recruit enough to fill the ranks. “We simply don’t have the capability or the manpower,” admits Clark. A brigade to Ukraine? In theory, yes. In reality, the UK would last last 18 months before running out of people.Harry and Robert also talk about President Trump's intervention in the Chagos Islands deal, criticizing Britain's strategic decision-making.
