In November 2025, Congress took a significant step by passing the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which mandated the Department of Justice to release all unclassified documents related to Epstein within a rather ambitious timeframe of just 30 days. But as the new year rolled in, reality set in: by January 2026, the DOJ had only managed to unveil less than 1% of the total documents they were supposed to release. Can you believe that? Less than 1%! They cited a complex review process for sensitive content, but lawmakers, both Republican and Democrat, didn’t shy away from voicing their frustrations.
