Episode Details

As MLK Jr. Day comes to an end... it's only right to share an episode I recoreded recently about... the beauty of being black, and my growing reverence for my people's history and culture.

I also share the... frustrations that come with living in a world where my rich culture and history is watered down and copied and disrespected. Long story short, to the nonblack people of tiktok, in my Kendrick Lamar voice, "We don't wanna see you posting videos that use the word 'n*gga' no more!" 

We're talking about black music, black art, black magick, and black history... and how your capacity to consume (any) art is impacted by your knowledge and understanding of the complex culture it's originating from.
