Story Transcript:

En: Ivana stood at the entrance to the ancient city center of Dubrovnik.

Hr: Hladan vjetar pod zapuhom zime nosio je miris mora i snijega.
En: A cold wind, under the breath of winter, carried the scent of the sea and snow.

En: Traveling with her were Marko and Toma, childhood friends, each with their own reasons for coming.

Hr: No, Ivana je imala svoj cilj, htjela je osjetiti duh blagdana Sveta tri kralja, Bogojavljenja, i taj osjećaj prenijeti u svoje slike.
En: But Ivana had her own goal; she wanted to feel the spirit of the holiday of the Epiphany, Three Kings' Day, and convey that feeling onto her canvases.

En: Marko suggested they first visit the Stradun.

En: There, the Christmas lights awaited them, shining like stars.

En: The city sparkled, but the crowds were large.

En: Ivana, as always, was looking for something unique.

En: Quiet but determined, she veered off the main path, winking at her friends.

En: "Let's go to the walls," she said, pointing to the ancient walls of Dubrovnik.

Hr: "Bit ćemo iznad svega toga."
En: "We'll be above it all."

En: As they climbed the stone steps, thunder in the distance warned of an approaching storm, but Ivana was undeterred.

Hr: "Vrijedi rizika", mislila je.
En: "It's worth the risk," she thought.

En: At the top, the wind was sharp and piercing, yet the view was breathtaking.

Hr: Snijeg je lagano prekrivao krovove, stvarajući dojam bajke.
En: Snow lightly covered the roofs, creating a fairy tale impression.

En: The winding streets of Dubrovnik were like drawings that told stories.

En: In the midst of this magic, their attention was drawn to a small group of children.

En: Decked out from head to toe, they sang and danced, mimicking the story of the Three Wise Men.

Hr: Ivana nije mogla vjerovati prizoru; usred zimskog snijega, te male duše širile su toplinu i radost.
En: Ivana couldn't believe the scene; amidst the winter snow, those little souls were spreading warmth and joy.

Hr: Brzo je izvadila skicirku.
En: She quickly pulled out her sketchbook.

Hr: Ruke su joj brzo letjele preko papira, hvatajući radost, melodiju i pokret.
En: Her hands flew swiftly over the paper, capturing the joy, melody, and movement.
