Episode Details

The Tennessee Titans could have gotten incredibly lucky as the Buffalo Bills fired head coach Sean McDermott on Monday. McDermott would be a homerun hire for the Titans and could save them from the floundering position they are currently in. The Titans would be taking a major risk by going after McDermott, but it is a worthy risk to take. Especially because their other two options are Robert Saleh and Matt Nagy. Neither is as proven of a coach as McDermott, but both have pros and cons as potential fits. The reality is though, Saleh has way more going for him and would be a much better selection. Mike McCarthy is the forgotten man here and a lot of Titans fans are wondering why. Answering that question is probably as simple as the Titans don't see McCarthy as as good of a fit as Nagy and Saleh, even if that is hard to believe. With all of the news swirling, odds are the Titans will have a new coach by Tuesday evening into Wednesday morning.
