Because Putin is not going to take Ukraine or Zelensky’s word for any of this.
He does however trust President Trump.
If there were any justice in the world the Nobel Peace Prize would be in Donald Trump’s hands right now.
This is Putin showing the wold Trump is waging a trade war on you guys b/c you are terrible leaders and you are all responsible for the deaths of my countrymen and Ukraines countrymen.

This nonsense of it needs to be bipartisan is just that.
You know it doesn’t need to be.
This is what I think may be happening here.
I think Trump might be setting Senator Schumer and other Democrats up.
They can’t even be bothered to write their own X headlines.
They are all recording and sending the exact same messaging.
“Standing firm as Democrats” etc…
They are having a meeting right now on ‘branding’ and that spell bad news for them.
What if, maybe the Speaker and such don’t know…maybe only the true inner circle of Trump is intentionally setting them all up for a serious Rick Roll?
What if Trump always knew the Democrats were going to act like Democrats and knowing that he wanted this CR bill to fail b/c of THEM.
QUESTION: What can Trump get out of the Democrats shutting the government down?
What if this was the play all along?
That the Democrats would force a government shutdown.
So all those precious federal employees that the left has been saying they are essential have to go home b/c the Democrats shut the government down.
So all the people DOGE said needed to go, will be gone due to the Democrats.
The essentials like Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security will still go out but all the supposed essential will all be home and not paid.
THUS proving the point that DOGE has been saying, these people aren’t essential at all.
