  • Remember back in the day, it was said that Chris Rock’s mother was refused service at Cracker Barrel?
  • Al Sharpton sued Cracker Barrel back then over that. 
  • Cracker Barrel settled and agreed to adopt 42 pages of regulations while admitting no wrongdoing.
  • The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission that year also sued Cracker Barrel stores in Illinois for sex bias and racial harassment. This year Cracker Barrel entered into a $2 million consent decree to resolve that lawsuit.
  • Remember the good ole rocking chairs out on the front porch area of the Cracker Barrel?
  • It made waiting to be seated tolerable.
  • They have taken everything that once made them cool and memorable out. 
  • They have turned Cracker Barrel into a sterile, clean lines hell hole.
  • Why did they make this change?
  FEDERAL EXPRESS

  • It first hits and they had a TV commercial and it primarily started off w/ small things like envelopes. You could choose next day. Federal Express was the first to market, they were the over night shipping pirates. 
  • They then decided that wasn’t good enough so they go national.
