Then, Hallmark Playhouse, originally broadcast January 19, 1950, 76 years ago, Around the World in 80 Days starring Ronald Coleman.  A brief half hour adaptation of the long journey with the punctual Mr. Fogg.

Followed by The Gulf Screen Guild Theater, originally broadcast January 19, 1941, 85 years ago, Magnificent Obsession starring Myrna Loy and Don Ameche.  An adaptation of the 1935 movie.  The drama follows a reckless playboy who seeks redemption and love after secretly devoting his wealth and life to helping others, guided by a philosophy of selfless service.

Then, The Lux Radio Theater, originally broadcast January 19, 1942, 84 years ago, The Devil and Miss Jones starring Lana Turner and Lionel Barrymore.  The wealthy owner of a department store goes to work in his own shoe department after his employees hang him in effigy. 

Finally, Claudia, originally broadcast January 19, 1948, 78 years ago, Of Men and Houses.  Claudia uses books and drops hints.  Kathryn Bard and Paul Crabtree star.
