In the end India crushed Afghanistan, winning by so far I wrote this with over 10 overs to spare.
Earlier in the day New Zealand completed a reasonably comfortable win over Scotland, thought they will have hoped for more. This win leaves them with a simple equation in their remaining matches, win 2 and guarantee qualification.
